5K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Main Function Responsible for ensuring appropriate supplies are available and selected for each procedures and that adequate surgery inventory is maintained in a cost effective manner; assists in establishing and maintaining uniformity and accuracy of patient charges, in addition to assisting with inventory par levels.

Duties Check expiration dates monthly and rotating stock so items are used in appropriate order Look at disposables daily to see if you need to order any items to keep par levels Have communication with MD's and their associates for all items in use Organizing inventory for ease of use Being a resource to all procedures for supplies, such as answering questions about products Communicating with staff about products and changes to inventory or usage Have communication with vendor reps to make sure if there is a back order on an item that we have a backup or a replacement for the MD's use Checking for grafts and implants for upcoming case needs.
Ensuring they are available prior to cases being performed I would like to add the following duties:
Complete PO confirmations in ENVI daily, communicate prn via email Print off 5-day schedule and check for case needs such as grafts, lenses, etc Facilitate and maintain return of items if MD decides to change use for cases Update implant bar codes prn Perform cycle counts prn Assist with inventory counts Create/maintain audit trails with vendors monthly to establish more consistent par levels Facilitate OR education in regard to proper notation on implant logs/product usage sheets Perform routine audit counts for all consigned inventory here at the AIASC Assist with updating preference cards prn Assist prn with case costing Instruct vendors on correct process for all new items with intended use at the AIASC Complete needs pertaining to recalls Perform periodic audits on pulled cases to ensure they match preference cards Perform periodic audits in OR case to ensure preference cards match what is being used Reports variances from preference card usage to Supply Chain Manager Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications 1.

Ability to work independently as well as work as a member of a team Requirements Required High school diploma or GED certificate recipient Computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook Strong organizational skills and flexibility Strong ethical and moral character references Preferred ASC experience Ortho experience Scrub Tech experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
