We are seeking a talented individual to join the Bigeye POS team as a technician, installer, and help desk support agent.
This job is based in Gulf Breeze FL, however travel to sites located throughout the panhandle will be required.
A clean driver's license is required for this job.
The job requires movement of IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Troubleshooting- You will be responsible for assessing and troubleshooting various issues that arise with ipads, network devices, POS Printers, Payment devices, and other IT devices.
Learning Revel Systems POS software Installation - Installation of POS equipment, routers, switches, wireless access points, ipads, and Stands.
Installation may include terminating network ports, wire management, software configuration, and network setup.
Training - You will be responsible for training end users on how to properly use their equipment.
Good people skills and a neat appearance are required to properly train and assist end users.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of IOS, networking, standard pc hardware, Microsoft office suite (Especially Excel) and other standard software.
Point of sale software knowledge is required Restaurant experience is required Ability to clearly explain problems and solutions to non-technical users.
Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work alone or in teams.
Must have a patient and methodical approach.
