The Business Office Representative demonstrates understanding of Business Office processes.
The Business Office Representative demonstrates exceptional communication and follow through skills to ensure appropriate management of all Business Office processes.
The Business Office Representative maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality through all phases of the Business Office processes.
Duties and Responsibilites:
1.

Performance-improvement program Contributes to the progress and development of the organization's adopted performance-improvement program, policies, and procedures Performs according to established performance-improvement policies and procedures 7.
Safety/risk-management program Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities Reports observed or suspected safety violations, hazards, and policy/procedure noncompliance to the safety officer or other designated person Complete annual education requirements 8.

Duties Serves as back up for all positions within the Business Office Reviews the Refund list weekly and communicates with Billing and Accounting regarding approvals and issues Checks and responds to emails in a timely and efficient manner Other duties as needed Qualifications Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, insurance companies, and general public Ability to make decisions and solve problems Requirements Required 1.
High school diploma or GED certificate 2.
Good typing skills 3.
Good communication skills 4.
Good computer skills 5.
Strong ethical and moral character references Preferred 1.
Insurance verification experience 2.
ASC experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
