Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Providing 1:
1 patient care in a home care setting.
Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adheres to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes.
Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking.

Qualifications of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Unencumbered license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state that care is being provided.
Minimum of six (6) months of documented home health nursing experience.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Clear level 2 background check.
Satisfactory drug screen.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
